Serentripity
*This was a personal project completed for my senior portfolio in 2013
This is an app for the adventure seekers. Like Yelp, Serentripity is a recommendations app based on user reviews and posts. Except instead of restaurants, Serentripity shows the user different thrills based on their locations. From cliff jumping to a long hike, the user can pick what kind of adventure to go on.
Personas
I created two personas, Lindsey & Peter, to aid me in my design process. Peter influenced the social media aspect of the app while Lindsey helped me focus on the user reviews.

Sign up & Tutorial
The first time you open Serentripity there is a log in but only the first time.
After a user enters their information. A directions overlay is displayed- for a more interactive experienced, simple swipes will help the user find adventures.
Browse for Adventures
This point of the app is to share those secret adventures that surround us with other like minded people. The Adventures page can be navigated with left and right swipes to browse places in the area.
Adventure Detail Screen
When an adventure is clicked this detail screen will pop up allowing the user to read reviews, look at pictures, and even add their own photo.
Profile
One important feature of the app is the Save button. If you are really interested in that rope swing but don't have the time now, save it. The saved activities can be found on their profile page under the Saved filter.
Clicking on a image or the name will bring up the detail screen that was previously shown.
Navigation
The nested navigation is simple and straight forward. I didn't want to over complicate the app with unnecessary features.
Filtering Options
When searching for something to do, the user has three different filters to choose from: location, thrill level, and ratings.
I wish Serentripity actually existed. If you have a hot spot around the cities for a quick adventure let me know! @abigail_bialk
